Rectangular French Restauration period antique mirror (1815-1830) with stripped gesso frame decorated with raised scrolling design including acathus leaves, fruit, flowers and even dragons! The original mercury plate is moderately, but evenly, foxed. This mirror can be hung portrait or landscape.
